With our streamlined system, most schools need minimal volunteer involvement. We deliver meals individually labelled by student name and sorted by class — ready for distribution. Some schools have eliminated on-site volunteers entirely.
Parents order through your school's online hot lunch platform (MunchaLunch, HotLunches.net, or similar). We set up and configure your ordering system for free. Parents simply create an account, browse the menu, and place orders before the weekly deadline.
Orders must be placed by Wednesday midnight the week before delivery. There are no exceptions possible.
Orders can be changed or cancelled prior to the Wednesday midnight deadline ONLY.
While we offer a 100% nut-free menu, we are NOT a nut-free facility. Cross-contamination is always possible.
While we offer gluten-free menu options, we are NOT a gluten-free kitchen. Cross-contamination is always possible.
We do not have the ability to create special orders. The menu contains several options suitable for many dietary restrictions (Gluten-Free, Vegetarian, no pork, etc.). If a child is very sensitive or anaphylactic to an ingredient used in our kitchen, this person should not place an order.
No. Foodie Kids does not provide cutlery with food orders due to environmental concerns about plastic waste. We encourage schools to use reusable cutlery.
